Il video, a sentir la band, fu completamente ideato dal regista: l'unica cosa che pretesero fu di suonare veramente finchè venivano filmati. Il cordino che Cornell porta al collo gli fu dato da Shannon Hoon. Il "buco nero" fu realizzato digitalmente mentre i volti dei protagonisti furono deformati con, l'allora in voga, tecnica del Morphing.
