Si il Glam, ebbene si un genere che crea imbarazzo tra la gente.

Beh si il Glam è questo, una strumentazione hard rock/heavy metal con melodie romantiche e accattivanti di derivazione glam rock. Concentrati sul divertimento, sulla rivoluzione giovanile, la ribellione, sul sociale, sul bere, sulle droghe, sull'uscire la sera con gli amici, sui party notturni ecc. Strumentalmente, il genere prevede riff distorti, assoli tecnici, cori trascinanti, la tipica batteria dal sound anni ottanta.
Tutta sta pappardella per introdurre chi ? Ovvio che sono loro sono i Twisted Sister. Le sorelle schizzate raccolgono il loro meglio in un cd che contiene 10 loro hits e ben 5 live. Una raccolta di canzoni frutto di 14 anni di carriera, si si ho detto 14.
La tracklist ci propone come prime due scelte i due brani più famosi della band rispettivamente "We're Not Gonna Take It" e "I Wanna Rock".
La prima è un inno al fancazzismo e alla libertà di scelta, cori da stadio e tutto l'ottimismo degli anni ottanta che i Twisted esprimevano quando tutti i loro colleghi erano chiusi in casa a crogiolarsi nella penombra parlando di satana e cagate varie.
"I Wanna Rock" rockaccio senza pretese sempre sull'onda della traccia precedente , tutti quelli che l'hanno sentita l'hanno cantata, eddai non dire di no che tanto è vero ...si si proprio tu una volta l'hai cantata. Si continua con titoli più o meno famosi sempre traccie easy listening testo semplice, base semplice, da "I Am I'm Me" passando per "The Price" fino a "Shot' Em Down" vanno giù che è un piacere. Dalla traccia 7 in poi i testi sono leggermente più incazzosi, toni più cattivi ma sempre rimanendo sull'onda Glam. Finiti questi iniziano i live, cinque esibizione dove la band di New York da buona prova che il frutto del loro lavoro non è solo opera di un bravo ingegnere del suono come era uso in quell'epoca.
I Twisted Sister sono una band senza pretese fanno da colonna sonora a tutto... da quando sei in macchina a quando sei svaccato sul divano o quando non sai proprio cosa ascoltare, li ascolti sorridi e rimetti il cd sullo scaffale.
